In a Wonderland they lie,
Dreaming as the days go by,
Dreaming as the summers die;

Ever drifting down the stream--
Lingering in the golden gleam--
Life, what is it but a dream?
FLOW - DAYS [NAKAKO REMIX]

I really like this updated version of DAYS remixed by Nakako. I’m sure most people who are fans of Eureka 7 would know the original version of the OP which has a rap interlude. Anyway, you’ll find this remix version as one of the B-side tracks on FLOW’s OP Single ‘Brave Blue’ for Eureka 7: Astral Ocean.

Natsuyuki Rendezvous ED Song - Anata ni deawanakereba

Natsuyuki Rendezvous ED Single: ‘Anata ni Deawanakereba / Hoshikuzu Venus’

Artist: Aimer

Release Date: 2012/08/15

Aimer’s outro theme song for TV anime ‘Natsuyuki Rendezvous’ titled ‘Anata ni Deawanakereba’ is currently my favourite ED song from the Summer anime season. Not only is it a beautiful melodic ballad but a touching one that reflects the essence of the characters’ conflicted feelings in its lyrics. It speaks of pain, loneliness, cherished memories and the hope of moving on…finding another love. After watching the latest episode (7) and having to hear this song, it just emphasize even more how heartbreaking the situation is for the 3 main characters particularly Rokka and Atsushi. Aimer’s yearning vocals does well to convey the aching emotions of the song. So, this made it a keeper on my playlist, one that never fail to tug at my heartstrings each time the song came on. ;-;

Motohiro Hata meets Sakamichi no Apollon - ED Single ‘Altair’

I love Altair’s lyrics which are so meaningful in the context of the anime and manga. Made me tear-up a little each time I listen to it, more so after knowing the ending (of the manga). Beautiful but bittersweet.

Kuroko no Basuke Character Song V.1 - Kuroko Tetsuya

kuroko - pixiv.net

Well, clearly the best package of the 3 character singles released goes to the titular character of the anime i.e KUROKO. Who knew he turn out to be the better singer of the 3 but yeah, his songs fits him, kinda cute just like the character himself. (*^_^*) Both tracks are catchy pop-rock ditties, rather typical sounding ani-songs that you’ll find crowding the anime music scene these days. Anyway, I rank it first, Kise’s 2nd and Kagami’s 3rd.

Kuroko no Basuke Character Song V.3 - Kise Ryota

Ah Kise, both the songs reflect Kise’s character pretty well although I thought ‘Perfect Copy’ has so much cheese. It just made me *lol* cos it really is funny. The rockier 2nd song is the better song of the two though but yeah the call out at the end is hilarious because I try imagining Kise leading a bunch of cheerleaders doing that. *LMAO*

Kuroko no Basuke Character Song V.2 - Kagami Taiga

Hmmm… Personally not liking the rock’ish 1st song - sooo odd, it’s laughable. Kagami’s trying too hard to sound cool…LOL. That said, it does match his ‘Taiga’ character. The 2nd one is better. At least he sounds better with a slower number and not growling like he did the 1st one.

TSURITAMA OP SINGLE ‘TSUREZURE MONOCHROME’ BY FUJIFABRIC

I’m sure fans of Tsuritama who love the TV OP cut of Tsurezure Monochrome are eager to hear the full song. The single’s out and I love the full song just as much as I do the TV-sized version. It’s really rocking the boat if you know what I mean and if you don’t, just take a listen to full sample here. xD
